In June of 2006, I had the opportunity and pleasure to make my professional stage directing debut and directed the U.S. West Coast premiere of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ The Pilgrim’s Progress for TRINITY LYRIC OPERA in Walnut Creek, California. In addition to directing, I was also cast as three tenor roles. It was an incredible experience. I was able to work with many of my SF Bay Area singer friends and to sing some monumental 20th Century music.
